On March 25 and 26, 2012, ANT conducted a two days training program on ‘Rolling Mills’ for the steel
industry especially rolling mills located in Jalna and Aurangabad (Maharashtra). It was first such type
of program in the region. During this two days program, all major subjects related to rolling mill like
development of layout plan, fundamentals of roll pass design, rolling mills guides and guards, roll
cooling, plant utilization, mill automation, quality issues, TMT process, slit rolling & its benefits etc.
covered by our experts. In this program, total 35 participants took part and they also shared their
day to day operational problems. Our experts gave them solutions and recommendations on various
issues. The program was a great success since during feedback we got positive response from all the
participants and they highly appreciated this program.
