Dr. Singh (CMD) developed in-house the slit rolling technology for bar mills of Al-Tuwairqi Group, Saudi Arabia — today producing 2.5 million tons of rebars per year. Mr. V M Chandekar (Director Technical) successfully implemented Slit Rolling Technology in Sharq Sohar Steel Rolling, Oman and Jakarta Cakratunggal Steel, Indonesia. ANT has successfully implemented multi-slit rolling technology in India and established 1000 ton per day rolling of 8mm in one of the mills by 3-strand two slit rolling.
